On May 31, 2019, Ashgabat will host a regular meeting of the Commonwealth of Independent States’ Heads of Government Council within the framework of Turkmenistan’s chairmanship in the CIS this year.
Representative delegations from the CIS countries will arrive to the country to participate in this meeting. As part of this event, meetings of the heads of delegations with the President of Turkmenistan are expected on 30 and 31 May.
During the meeting, relevant issues of political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation of the CIS member-states will be discussed.
Following the meeting, the documents regulating the expansion of cooperation in the CIS space in the area of trade, transport, cultural and humanitarian cooperation will be signed.
