US Secretary of the Army Daniel Driscoll visited Turkmenistan

US Secretary of the Army Daniel Driscoll visited Turkmenistan, where he held meetings with President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty and National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, as well as the leadership of the country’s Ministry of Defense. The American official announced this on his page on the social network X.

Special Envoy Sergio Gor also took part in the meetings. According to Driscoll, the parties discussed deepening bilateral cooperation in the field of security. The participants of the meetings reaffirmed a shared commitment to ensuring peace and stability in the Central Asian region. The US Secretary of the Army thanked the Turkmen side for their hospitality and open dialogue.
