Turkmen-Japanese interaction have been discussed

On June 24, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Chairman of the Supreme Control Chamber of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov had an online meeting with the State Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan Kiyoshi Ejima.

During the constructive talk the parties discussed the issues of bilateral relations including cooperation in political, trade-economic spheres, and interaction in cultural-humanitarian direction.

The sides especially emphasized the role of Turkmen-Japanese and Japanese-Turkmen Committees on Economic Cooperation where it had been considered in detail the outcome of implemented work, and it had been stated the need of speed-up the realization of the reached earlier agreements.

Also, in order to fully implement the tasks defined in the “Roadmap for Cooperation in the Field of Infrastructure”, the development of “green energy”, the intensification of business and scientific contacts are highlighted as high-priority.

It was underlined the positive experience of interaction with Japanese partners in the field of investments and petrochemicals, as well as Japanese producers of industrial technology.

In this context the parties expressed readiness to further close cooperate with Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC), major corporations such as “Sumitomo”, “Itochu Corporation” and others.

Investors are invited to participate in the construction of a new Turkmen vessel
