Turkmen-German cooperation was discussed

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan R.Meredov had a telephone conversation with the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany, Miguel Berger.

Having considered the extensive agenda of bilateral cooperation, the diplomats especially noted the positive dynamics of the development of relations in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

Expressing a common desire to develop mutually beneficial partnership in various areas, the heads of the Foreign Ministries of the two countries stated the need to consolidate efforts to continue the tradition of the support of initiatives and undertakings of each other on international platforms.

The importance of regular meetings of representatives of the public and private sectors of Turkmenistan and Germany, which create enormous opportunities for achieving effective indicators in key interaction processes, was also highlighted.

The diplomats exchanged views concerning the current situation related to COVID-19 pandemic and considered the opportunities of developing cooperation on the counteraction against the spread of coronavirus in the world.
