On July 22, 2020, a telephone conversation was held between the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan R.Meredov with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs of the United Arab Emiartes Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The key issues of bilateral cooperation were discussed during the conversation.
The parties reiterated the high level of bilateral cooperation in political-diplomatic, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian fields. The effectiveness of collaboration between the external policy agencies of two countries and closeness of standpoints on key aspects of regional and international agenda were noted.
The parties exchanged views concerning the current situation related to COVID-19 pandemic and considered the opportunities of developing cooperation on the counteraction against the spread of coronavirus in the world.
In addition, the possibilities of strengthening collaboration in the field of transport, energy, chemical industry and ecology were regarded.
