Today, on May 15, a telephone conversation was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Mohammad Haneef Atmar.
The parties discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation. In this respect, the Ministers exchanged views on the implementation of the agreements reached between the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Mohammad Ashraf Ghani during the telephone conversation on May 13 of current year.
During the talk, the Ministers also discussed a number of regional and international issues. The importance of sustaining active contacts on the high and the highest levels for the advancement of bilateral cooperation was stated.
