A meeting of representatives of business circles of Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Turkiye was held in Avaza

On December 14, 2022, in the “Avaza” National Tourist Zone, within the framework of the First Trilateral Summit of the Heads of Turkmenistan, the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Turkiye, a meeting of representatives of business circles of friendly countries was held.

A discussion was held on promising areas of mutually beneficial partnership in the context of the existing large trade and economic potential of Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Turkiye, in particular, in the fields of industry, energy, construction, agriculture, transport, etc.

The speakers noted that Turkmenistan, which is implementing the strategy of diversifying the economy, including by actively attracting the best best practices and latest technologies, is open to constructive interaction and welcomes the desire of business circles of friendly countries to strengthen their positions in the Turkmen market.

Speaking about the great interest of leading companies in deepening multifaceted cooperation, the guests confirmed their desire to take an active part in the implementation of large-scale government projects in the interests of the peoples of the fraternal countries.

During the meeting, ways were analyzed to bring relations to a new level in various areas of the economy and investment, in the field of high technologies, the possibility of expanding trade turnover, and specific plans for joint work were outlined.

Thus, following the results of the business meeting, a Declaration on the development of trilateral relations and mutual understanding between Turkmenistan, the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Turkiye was signed.

In conclusion, the participants of the meeting expressed their sincere gratitude to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov for the opportunity provided for the further successful development of the business partnership, which has received new momentum today.
