Upcoming visit of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Turkmenistan

A telephone conversation was held between the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan R.O.Meredov and the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan M.B.Tileuberdi.

During the talk, the parties discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation, particularly the collaboration between the external policy agencies of two countries.

At that, the main topic of discussion was the implementation of the instructions given by the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on the outcomes of their telephone conversations, which took place in April and May of current year.

The Ministers discussed the issues related to the upcoming visit of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Turkmenistan in the second half of 2021.

The parties thoroughly considered the preparations to the VI Caspian Summit planned to be held in Turkmenistan in the autumn of current year.

In addition, the Ministers underlined with satisfaction the intensification of trade-economic ties between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as agreed to continue the necessary work for their further strengthening.
