President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov inspected the cotton harvesting maсhine of the world famous John Deere company, which has arrived in our country on the eve of the beginning of the ‘white gold harvest’.
In the morning, at the site where the new cotton harvester machines were exhibited, the Turkmen leader was met by E. Orazgeldiev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, in charge of the agro-industrial complex and M. Bayramdurdyev, Minister of Agriculture and Environmental Protection. The Deputy Prime Minister reported on information regarding the received agricultural machinery.
By the way, John Deere is one of the reliable long-term partners of Turkmen farmers. The world famous American brand has been present on the domestic market for over 25 years. During the period of cooperation, about 8 thousand units of various agricultural machinery and equipment of this brand have been delivered to our country.
The four-row John Deere 9970 combine is a modern model equipped with a 250 horsepower engine, which is distinguished by its reliability in operation. Its productivity for 10 hours a day is on average 12 hectares, the volume of the bunker is 4 tons. Earlier, in 2017-2018, 400 units of similar cleaning machines were delivered to our country.
Mentioning the need to continue to pay unremitting attention to the issues of technical modernization and digitalization of the country’s agriculture, the introduction of advanced technologies that ensure high production efficiency, the President of Turkmenistan gave the relevant leaders a number of specific instructions.
