Turkmen Leader consulted new projects with Ahmet Çalık chairman of Çalık Holding

On September 9, during his working visit to the Balkan velayat, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received Ahmet Çalık, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Çalık Holding.

During the conversation, the businessman cordially congratulated the President on the start of construction of gas turbine power plants at the Turkmenbashi oil refinery complex.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized the need to increase the effectiveness of the holding’s participation in the implementation of large-scale projects for mutual benefit.

Mentioning the importance of the main power system of the continent — Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India gas pipeline, as well as the TOP power transmission system entrusted to Chalyk Holding, the President instructed the head of the company to carry out all work on time and at a high level.

The Turkish businessman reported on the progress made in the development of a number of joint projects, mentioning that continuing long-term cooperation is a great honor for his company, taking part in the wide-ranging reforms in the country.

The Turkmen leader emphasized one more time that the Turkmen side was obliged to commission the facilities under construction and to ensure the high quality of construction work.
