The Turkmen delegation participated in the meeting of the heads of foreign affairs departments of the Central Asian countries

On May 13, 2022, as part of a working visit to Dushanbe, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Vepa Hajyiev, took part in a meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Central Asian states.

During the current dialogue, the implementation of the Joint Statement of the Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia, which was successfully held in Turkmenistan in August 2021, was considered.

In addition, an exchange of views took place on the draft Treaty between the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan on friendship, good neighborliness and cooperation for the development of Central Asia in the 21st century, which is aimed at strengthening and comprehensive development of traditionally close relations between the countries and the peoples of this region.

Mutually acceptable decisions were made on all issues on the agenda.
