Dear citizens of Turkmenistan, residing permanently or temporarily in the United States of America,
the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the USA once again reminds you of the importance of complying with all laws and regulations, including U.S. migration laws.

Every Turkmen citizen in the USA is required to follow these rules:
• Adhere to the validity period of your visa and other residence permits.
• Timely extend your visa and permits before they expire if you plan to continue your stay.
• Obtain a work permit or other relevant documents in accordance with U.S. immigration laws.
Non-compliance with migration laws may result in serious consequences:
• Fines or deportation with subsequent entry bans to the U.S.
• Blocking the possibility of obtaining visas or other permits for a long period.
• Detentions or other sanctions by U.S. immigration authorities.

To avoid these consequences, it is essential to address matters related to your visa, work permits, and other documents confirming your legal stay in the country on time.

At the same time, the Embassy also reminds you of the need to register for consular registration at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the United States.

Consular registration is an important procedure that:
• Confirms your legal stay abroad.
• Facilitates access to consular services.
• Provides legal and organizational support in emergencies.
• Enables participation in elections and other official events.
