The working visit of the Ambassador of Turkmenistan the Republic of the Philippines

On June 12, 2025, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of the Philippines (with residence in Tokyo) A.Bayramov took part in a gala reception held at the Malacanan Palace on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of the Philippines in Manila.

On behalf of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the Turkmen diplomat conveyed warm congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of the main holiday of the Republic of the Philippines.

During his visit to the Republic of the Philippines, Ambassador A.Bayramov held meetings at the country’s Departments of Foreign Affairs and Tourism.

The Ambassador invited the Philippine side to participate in the Forum dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust scheduled for December 12, 2025 in Ashgabat, as well as to the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC3), which will be held in the Avaza National Tourist Zone from August 5 to August 8, 2025.

 

 

The parties also agreed to continue work on developing the legal framework, holding political consultations in Ashgabat, as well as cultural and tourist exchanges between the two countries.

In addition, as part of the visit, on June 11, 2025, Ambassador A. Bayramov met with the President of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Masato Kanda in Manila.

During the conversation, the Turkmen side declared its readiness to continue partnership with this large financial organization. The parties also discussed issues of holding a number of events dedicated to the celebration of 25 years since the establishment of partnership between Turkmenistan and ADB this year.
