The President of Turkmenistan will pay a visit to Uzbekistan

During the digital working meeting deputy-chairman of the Cabinet E.Orazgeldiyev reported on preparation for the forthcoming next meeting of the Joint Turkmen-Uzbek commission on trade and economic, scientific and technical and cultural cooperation.

As was noted, today Turkmen-Uzbek cooperation has reached a qualitatively new level, which includes itself a number of areas.

At the next meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission bilateral agreements, on a number of issues, will be reached. This group has an important role to play in their successful implementation, ensures of the harmonious development friendly and good-neighborly relations between the two countries.

Having heard the report and having noted that our state attaches huge significance to comprehensive expansion of international cooperation and good-neighbourhood relations, the head of Turkmenistan focused attention on importance of due preparation for the next meeting of the Joint Turkmen-Uzbek commission on trade and economic, scientific and technical and cultural cooperation playing a special role in strengthening of constructive dialogue with the brotherly country.

In this context President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov charged the deputy-chairman of the Cabinet to discuss issues and agreements which will make up the agenda, and to arrange organization of the forthcoming meeting of the Joint Turkmen-Uzbek commission on trade and economic, scientific and technical and cultural cooperation next week together with his Uzbek colleague.
