At the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan there was held a farewell meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Italian Republic to Turkmenistan, Mr. Diego Ungaro, who is completing his diplomatic mission in the country.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Turkmen side highly appreciated the work of the diplomat, who in the course of his mission rendered significant assistance in strengthening the Turkmen-Italian relations in various areas of interaction.
The Ambassador of the Italian Republic, in turn, thanked the leadership of our country for the created opportunities for work and comprehensive assistance to the activities of the embassy.
During the meeting, the parties especially noted the strengthening of the political and diplomatic dialogue. A number of topical issues were also discussed, including the further expansion of trade-economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the two countries, where there is a huge potential for mutual implementation.
At the end of the meeting, the Turkmen side thanked the Ambassador for his significant contribution to the comprehensive development of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Italian Republic and expressed wishes for success in his future activities.
