The first general meeting of ALSA was held at the University of California.

The first general meeting of the Advanced Legal Scholars Association (ALSA), which operates within the framework of the University of California, Davis School of Law, one of the world’s most prestigious universities, was held for the new term. As you may recall, the Turkmen lawyer Dr. Dovran Orazgylyjov, who is pursuing his master’s degree at this faculty, was elected as the President of this distinguished association. As we know, the Davis campus of the University of California recently ranked 12th on the 2025 list of the best universities in the United States, prepared by the “Wall Street Journal/College Pulse.”

During the General Meeting held on September 27, 2024, the activities and certain organizational matters that ALSA will undertake for the new term were discussed.

With the proposal of the President of ALSA, it was agreed to increase the number of members in the management board to ensure representation of lawyers from various continents around the world.
