Issues on cooperation in economic and other spheres were discussed at the conference in the format of a video conference at the 87th meeting of the Economic Council of the Commonwealth of Independent States, in which the delegation of Turkmenistan took part. This was reported by, the CIS Internet portal (e-cis.info).
The Turkmen delegation was headed by Rovshen Nuryagdyev, Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy.
State News Agency of Turkmenistan (TDH) reports that the meeting participants exchanged views on topical areas of economic cooperation, considered a number of documents.
In particular, information was heard on the main results of the implementation of the CIS Economic Development Strategy for the period until 2020 and on the draft Action Plan for the implementation of the first stage (2021–2025) of a similar Strategy for the period until 2030, as well as on the draft Interstate Program innovative cooperation of the CIS member states for the period up to 2030.
