At the beginning of the conversation, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov warmly congratulated President of Russia Vladimir Putin on his birthday and wished him sound health, well-being and great success.
During the telephone conversation, the sides also discussed current topics on the bilateral and regional agenda. Noting with satisfaction the positive nature of cooperation, the heads of state reaffirmed their commitment to further comprehensive development of the traditionally friendly relations.
At the end of the conversation, the interlocutors expressed confidence that the Turkmen-Russian strategic partnership would continue to expand in all areas, based on the age-old traditions of friendship, trust and mutual understanding.
