At the invitation of the President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov arrived in Mongolia for a state visit on June 1, 2025.
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and his accompanying delegation were welcomed at the “Buyant-Ukhaa” International Airport by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia B. Battsetseg, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Turkmenistan D. Bayarkhuu, and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Mongolia P. Durdyev.
During this state visit, which is being held for the first time at the level of the President of Turkmenistan, the parties will sign intergovernmental and inter-governmental documents that will strengthen the legal basis of bilateral relations and contribute to the expansion and development of cooperation in trade, economy, light industry, science, education, culture, and health.
In addition, a Mongolian-Turkmen business forum, an exhibition of Turkmen handicrafts and carpets, and a joint trade and cultural performance will be organized within the framework of the visit.
