As part of a working visit to Doha, Qatar, Oguljahan Atabayeva, Vice-President for Medical Activities of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Supporting Children in Need of Guardianship, held a number of meetings.
Meeting with the Minister of State for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar
During the meeting, Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad, Minister of State for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, highly praised the work of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Supporting Children in Need of Guardianship, particularly its humanitarian initiatives.
The Vice-President for Medical Activities of the Charitable Foundation also informed about the upcoming International Conference “The Role of Women in Modern Society: Developing International Cooperation on the Path to Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals,” scheduled for 10 December this year in the Avaza National Tourist Zone, and extended an invitation to Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad to participate.
Thanking her for the invitation, the Minister of State for International Cooperation expressed confidence that this conference would play an important role in ensuring the well-being of women and children.
Meeting with the Minister of Social Development and Family
Oguljahan Atabayeva, then met with Buthaina bint Ali Al-Jabr Al-Nuaimi, Minister of Social Development and Family of the State of Qatar.
Buthaina bint Ali Al-Jabr Al-Nuaimi highly appreciated the dynamically developing relations between the State of Qatar and Turkmenistan in the political-diplomatic, economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres, expressing confidence that the current meeting would contribute to a mutually beneficial exchange of experience.
During the meeting, Oguljahan Atabayeva took the opportunity to invite Buthaina bint Ali Al-Jabr Al-Nuaimi to participate in the International Conference “The Role of Women in Modern Society: Developing International Cooperation on the Path to Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals,” which will be held on 10 December this year in the Avaza National Tourist Zone.

Vice-President for Medical Activities of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Supporting Children in Need of Guardianship, Oguljahan Atabayeva, met with Lolwah bint Rashid bin Mohammed Al-Khater, Minister of Education and Higher Education of the State of Qatar.
During the meeting, Atabayeva noted that Turkmenistan pays special attention to the development of education at all levels. Educational institutions in Turkmenistan are fully equipped with modern multimedia and other necessary equipment.
In this regard, she stressed that the Foundation is open to exchanging experience and other effective initiatives aimed at ensuring the well-being of children, and took the opportunity to invite the Qatari side to participate in the International Conference “The Role of Women in Modern Society: Developing International Cooperation on the Path to Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals,” which will take place on 10 December this year in the Avaza National Tourist Zone.

Meeting with the President of the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development
During the meeting with Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, President of the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development, Vice-President of the Charitable Foundation Oguljahan Atabayeva emphasized that the Foundation attaches great importance to international humanitarian activities.
Thanks to the funds of the Charitable Foundation, humanitarian aid has been sent to children in Russia, Türkiye, Afghanistan, Palestine, Tajikistan, and other countries. This year, the Foundation’s international activities are reaching a new level, focused on the well-being of children worldwide.
Atabayeva highly appreciated the educational projects of the Qatar Foundation, noting that education and science are the foundation of societal development, and therefore the Charitable Foundation is open to proposals and initiatives in this area. She also took the opportunity to invite a delegation from the State of Qatar to the International Conference “The Role of Women in Modern Society: Developing International Cooperation on the Path to Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals,” which will be held on 10 December this year in the Avaza National Tourist Zone.
Expressing gratitude for the invitation, Sheikha Moza bint Nasser emphasized that ensuring gender equality is one of the main characteristics of a sustainable and developing society.
