Meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan with the Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States

Today, on February 17, an online meeting was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and the Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States Baghdad Amreyev, during which the prospects for developing cooperation between Turkmenistan and the organization were discussed.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan stressed the need to further expand the interaction of the countries of this format in various fields.

At the same time, it was emphasized that Turkmenistan is interested in its partnership with a number of international structures affiliated with the Organization of Turkic States.

The diplomats paid special attention to the issues of interaction in sending the mission of observers of the Organization of Turkic States to participate in monitoring the preparation and conduct of the elections of the President of Turkmenistan, which will be held on March 12 this year.
