State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports that the President of the Autonomus Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation Rustam Minnikhanov sent a letter of gratitude to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
The letter read: “On behalf of the Tatarstan people and on my own behalf, I express my sincere gratitude to you for the warm congratulations on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Tatarstan Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic and the Day of the Republic of Tatarstan. That shows your great attention to the issues of cooperation with the Republic of Tatarstan, aimed at strengthening Russian-Turkmen relations.
Taking this opportunity, I would like to highlight the high level of bilaterally beneficial trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian ties between the Republic of Tatarstan and Turkmenistan, which have significant potential for development.
