Issues of cultural cooperation between Turkmenistan and Georgia discussed

On 15 September 2025, a meeting took place between Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan in Georgia D.Seyitmammedov and a renowned Georgian film director, T.Malania.

During the meeting, the Ambassador briefed T.Malania on major international events marking the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality and the proclamation of 2025 as the “International Year of Peace and Trust”.

The parties also discussed issues related to the creation of a documentary film on the multilateral partnership between Turkmenistan and Georgia, founded on longstanding traditions of friendship and fruitful cooperation.

The film will be produced with the support of the Ministry of Culture of Georgia and will highlight the achievements of bilateral cooperation in the political, trade and economic, transport and energy, as well as cultural and humanitarian spheres.

The parties expressed their confidence that the film will become another step towards strengthening bilateral relations and implementing joint initiatives.
