Türkmenistan’da her sene bir ilçe “en iyi ilçe” seçilmektedir. Bakanlar Kurulu Genişletilmiş toplantısında yapılan açıklamaya göre, Ahal eyaletinin Göktepe İlçesi 2019 yılının “en iyi ilçesi” seçildi ve 1 milyon ABD doları ile ödüllendirildi.
