Economic Cooperation Organization: Videoconference session

The  extraordinary session of the representatives of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Economic Cooperation Organization member-states was held. The session took place through videoconferencing.

The delegation of Turkmenistan was headed by the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The representatives of Turkey, Pakistan, Iran, as well as the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Economic Cooperation Organization gave speeches at the meeting.

The given session presented an opportunity to discuss the current cooperation between the ECO states, as well as the most crucial matters of regional and international agenda, in particular the impact of the pandemic on trade-economic collaboration between the countries. The parties considered the key aspects of cooperation in the field of trade, transport, energy and industry. An exchange of views was held on joint measures for overcoming the crisis economic situation and the development of trade strategies for future.
