On June 4, 2020, negotiations were held in a video conference format between the Advisor to the President of Turkmenistan on oil and gas issues Y.Kakaev and Executive Vice President for the Central Asian region of the ENI oil company of the Italian Republic L.Vignati.
At the meeting, the parties discussed the issues of the activities of the ENI Company in Turkmenistan, the results of the ongoing work and challenges related to “COVID-19”. Speaking about open and trusting cooperation with Turkmenistan, the Italian side thanked the Turkmen side for their close cooperation.
The company’s proposals on the necessary measures to optimize investments and activities in accordance with the current economic situation were also considered in order to preserve the value and stability of assets in the interests of both parties.
