On September 6, 2022, the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov met with the Special Representative of the Government of the People’s Republic of China for Eurasian Affairs Li Hui at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
During the meeting, the parties noted the high level of Turkmen-Chinese friendly relations of a strategic nature. Issues of developing relations between Turkmenistan and China in political-diplomatic, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian areas were discussed.
The positive experience of interaction between Turkmenistan and China within the framework of various international organizations was emphasized.
The parties stated the closeness and similarity of the positions of Turkmenistan and China on topical issues of the regional and global agenda, primarily related to ensuring global peace and security.
