Turkmenistan’s President Extends Condolences to Trump Following Texas Floods

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has extended his condolences to U.S. President Donald Trump following a devastating flood in the U.S. state of Texas caused by torrential rains, Turkmenistan’s state news agency on Monday.

The natural disaster resulted in numerous casualties, injuries and widespread destruction.

In his message, President Berdimuhamedov expressed sincere sympathy and support to the families of the victims and wished a swift recovery to those injured.

The July 4 flood in Kerr County was one of the most severe in the region’s history, with river levels rising to a record 8.8 meters (28.9 feet). Dozens of homes, bridges and sections of highways were destroyed.

President Trump declared a state of emergency in the affected area.
