Turkmenistan-Romanian relations are developing

The online meeting took place in the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan between the Minister of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan M.Serdarov and the Minister of Economy, Energy and the Business Environment of Romania V.Popescu.

After the exchange of warm greetings, the parties thoroughly discussed a number of pressing issues of the bilateral agenda.  Special attention was paid to the possibilities of expanding cooperation in combatting the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the implementation of joint actions on overcoming its economic repercussions.

A range of cooperation issues were discussed

Also, the Ministers noted the significance of the Joint Turkmen-Romanian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation and discussed the options of holding the next session of the Commission.

The parties considered the priority spheres of collaboration in the field of energy, transport, agriculture, light industry, education and high technologies.
