The Consulate General of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Turkey participated in an international cultural event held at Bahçeşehir University, organized in collaboration with the consulates of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Azerbaijan, as well as local government institutions, at the invitation of the Turkish side. This event, dedicated to the celebration of Nowruz, showcased the cultural performances of the participating countries, along with exhibitions of national arts and crafts, cultural heritage, and traditional cuisines. In their speeches, the attending diplomats emphasized the values of peace, unity, and brotherhood that Nowruz embodies.
At the booth prepared by the Consulate General of Turkmenistan and Turkmen students, guests had the opportunity to gain an intimate understanding of Turkmen culture. Handwoven carpets, traditional clothing, national jewelry, books, and souvenirs were on display.
A significant highlight of this event was the recognition that Nowruz is not just a national celebration but also serves as a cultural bridge on an international level. It is anticipated that these celebrations, which reflect the spirit of unity and friendship associated with Nowruz, will continue in the future.
