Turkmenistan has accepted more than 200 citizens from 16 countries evacuating from Iran.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports that in connection with the current situation in the Middle East region, Turkmenistan, based on the principles of humanism and mutual respect, and also being strictly committed to fulfilling its international obligations, fully provides all the necessary conditions for the passage of citizens of foreign states, motor vehicles, and rolling stock of railway transport across the Turkmen-Iranian border. At the same time, all international checkpoints on the state border are operating as usual.

As of March 4, more than 200 people from 16 countries, including Central Asian states, China, Russia, the United States, Finland, Sweden, the Netherlands, Germany, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and other countries, entered Turkmenistan from neighboring Iran.
