Turkmenistan and United Kingdom signed 4 memorandums in education field

On 26 February 2025, within the framework of the working visit of the delegation of Turkmenistan, headed by the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov, to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, a number of bilateral documents aimed at developing cooperation in education, science, and human capacity building were signed.

Among the signed documents were:

  • Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and AQA Assessment Services Ltd;
  • Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and Pearson National Computer Systems on cooperation in the field of skills development, certification, and qualifications;
  • Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and the Norwich Institute for Language Education;
  • Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in science and education between the Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages and Nottingham Trent University.

The signing of these documents is aimed at expanding academic cooperation, introducing modern educational standards, and strengthening partnerships between educational and scientific institutions of the two countries.
