“Turkmen national costumes were showcased in France

An international fashion show featuring designers was held in the city of Deauville as part of the Art-Storytelling Paris–Deauville programme, bringing together representatives of the fashion industry, cultural institutions, and the diplomatic corps from various countries.

Turkmenistan was represented at the event by renowned designer Jennet Agayeva, Head of the Embroidery Department of the Women’s Union of Turkmenistan, representatives of the Women’s Union of Turkmenistan, and staff members of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in France. The guests were presented with creations showcasing the rich traditions of Turkmen decorative and applied arts, national embroidery, and contemporary design.

The participation of the Turkmen delegation in the international fashion show made an important contribution to promoting Turkmenistan’s cultural heritage, expanding international humanitarian cooperation, and strengthening professional ties in the fields of fashion and creative industries.
