Speaking at the meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that over the years of independence, our country has achieved much, and thanks to the grand undertakings and large-scale initiatives of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Hero-Arkadag, we have significantly increased the prestige of our independent neutral Homeland.
Speaking about the progressive dynamics of the national economy, the President of Turkmenistan noted with satisfaction that GDP growth has consistently remained at 6.3 percent since the beginning of this year, indicating the success of the reforms implemented in the country.
Special emphasis was placed on measures being taken to improve the effectiveness of state investment policy. In this regard, it was noted that the implementation of regional and national investment projects contributes to strengthening the economic potential of the country’s regions. At the same time, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the significance of the recently held Investment Forum in terms of strengthening Turkmenistan’s economic partnership with the global community, establishing new business contacts, and presenting its investment potential.
The head of state also stated that according to the Program for Socio-Economic Development of Turkmenistan and Investments in 2024, significant capital investments amounting to 38 billion 500 million manats will be disbursed by the end of this year. These investments will be directed towards developing the country and will allow for building and modernizing production and socio-cultural facilities.
As noted, overall radical transformations fully testify to the successful implementation of large-scale initiatives for a happy life of Turkmenistan citizens. “All our achievements are due to the motto ‘The Motherland is a Motherland only with the people! The state is a state only with the people!,'” emphasized President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
