The Mufti of Turkmenistan, Rahman Kurbanmuradov, participated in the 7th meeting of the Council of Heads of Muslim Religious Administrations of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) member countries, held on September 14 in Baku.
According to AZERTAC, speaking at the meeting, he noted that strong fraternal relations have developed among the peoples of the Turkic world throughout history, with roots that can be traced back to the history of cities, religious values, culture, customs, and linguistic affinity.
According to him, one of the key objectives is to further bring together the religious leaders of Turkic peoples, strengthen mutual ties and cooperation, and jointly address pressing issues. The Mufti expressed confidence that the meeting would benefit the Turkic peoples.
