The horse is the pride and support of the Turkmen. The Turkmen consider the horse to be their best friend and confidante. Horses, which have become the pride of the Turkmen people, have long been considered a very valuable asset of our people. During the revival of a new era of a sovereign state, the Akhal-Teke Horse Festival is celebrated in our country. Exhibitions and competitions are organized annually on the occasion of the Day of the Turkmen Horse. One of these exhibitions is held at the State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan under the name “Wings of the Turkmen”. This creative competition is held among artists, carpet weavers, jewelers, photographers, publishers with the aim of presenting the beauty of Akhal-Teke horses and artistic expression of their works in fine arts, publishing and photography. The works created at the exhibition bring to life the originality and high art of fine art of the Akhal-Teke people. The competition is attended by teachers and young teachers, talented students of the State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan, as well as freelance artists from the regions of the country. Our artists and talented students glorify Turkmen horses in painting, sculpture, jewelry and applied arts.The exhibition presents the works of the teachers of our academy Polat Garryev, Gyulara Babayeva, Aydzhemal Charyyeva, Ogulzhennet Mollaeva, Parahat Gapanchaev and a number of other masters. The exhibition also presents the works of the young generation, such as “Turkmen horse” by Chynar Kemenov, “Tumar Shah” by Ogultach Charkuliyeva, “Proud horse” by Yagshygeldy Berdiyev, “Turkmen horse” by Akhmet Annamyradov, “from the epic Gyorogly” by Gulhumar Khodjaeva. They are distinguished by their artistic solution and perfection. The unique description of the beauty of the Turkmen horse in the creative contest proves that they occupy and will continue to occupy a special place in the past, present and future of the Turkmen people. As a result of the unprecedented efforts of the President, honor is given to the Turkmen Akhal-Teke horses, further improvement of the national traditions of equestrian sports and horse racing. May the life of our President, who creates such opportunities, be safe and sound, and his good deeds for the benefit of the people and his country continue to feed and prosper!
