Ambassador meets with Minister of Justice of Japan

On 29 May 2025, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Japan A.Bayramov met with Minister of Justice of Japan, member of the House of Representatives of Japan Keisuke Suzuki in Tokyo. During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of further strengthening of bilateral relations, including in the field of improving the legislation of the two countries in the format of the Dialogue “Central Asia + Japan”.

The Japanese side expressed a number of initiatives aimed at further strengthening mutual understanding and co-operation in the field of law between Turkmenistan and Japan.

In turn, the Ambassador invited the Minister of Justice of Japan K.Suzuki to visit Turkmenistan and informed about the upcoming Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries in the National Tourist Zone of Avaza during 5-8 August 2025, as well as the Forum dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust, as well as the 30th anniversary of the Permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan in Ashgabat on 12 December 2025.

The Parties agreed to continue working on the implementation of initiatives of Turkmenistan and Japan within the framework of the Dialogue “Central Asia + Japan”.
