The Foreign Ministers of Turkmenistan and Egypt discussed key aspects of cooperation by telephone

On November 14, 2025, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov held a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates of the Arab Republic of Egypt Badr Abdelatty.

During the conversation, the diplomats reaffirmed their mutual interest in further strengthening bilateral ties and noted shared positions on key issues related to maintaining international peace, stability, and security.

Constructive interaction between the two countries in the multilateral format, particularly within the UN and the OIC, was highlighted.

Special attention during the talks was paid to issues related to the preparation for the International Forum on Peace and Trust, which will be held on December 12 of this year in Ashgabat.
