On 8 April 2025 – in the framework of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality and 2025 – the ‘International Year of Peace and Trust’, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Vienna organised a special exhibition.
The event featured a collection of books and cultural and historical artefacts reflecting the essence, history and contemporary relevance of Turkmenistan’s policy of permanent neutrality.
Among the works presented were outstanding publications by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, which are of exceptional value, offering a deep understanding of Turkmenistan’s philosophy of neutrality, its peace-loving foreign policy and the country’s consistent commitment to international dialogue and cooperation.
The event was attended by Ambassadors and Permanent Representatives accredited to the UN, OSCE and other international organisations in Vienna, members of the diplomatic corps, representatives of international institutions and the media, as well as young people and students currently studying at Austrian universities.
The event fostered a warm atmosphere of cultural exchange and mutual understanding, emphasising Turkmenistan’s enduring message of peace and trust.
