The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Islamabad hosts a Golf Tournament and a Gala Reception to celebrate the 34th Anniversary of Independence of Turkmenistan

On September 27, 2025, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Islamabad organized a Friendly Golf Tournament and a subsequent Gala Reception to commemorate the 34th anniversary of Independence and the 30th anniversary of Neutrality of Turkmenistan. The event was held jointly with the management of the Pines Golf Club in Islamabad.

The tournament brought together Ambassadors, diplomats accredited to Pakistan, and skilled Pakistani golfers.

A spirit of friendship, sporting competition, and mutual respect characterized the atmosphere of the competition.

Following the tournament, the Embassy of Turkmenistan presented the players with the best results with commemorative prizes and gifts as a token of appreciation for their participation.

Following the sports portion of the event, a Gala Reception was held, with Ambassador Hamid Asghar Khan, Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, as the Chief Guest.

The guests noted the warm and friendly atmosphere of the evening, expressing their appreciation for the high level of organization of the event, which further contributed to strengthening cultural, humanitarian, and diplomatic ties between Turkmenistan and Pakistan. This event also became a bright example of implementation of the policy of Turkmen Leadership in forming a positive attitude towards a healthy lifestyle.
