The Ambassador of Turkmenistan met with the Secretary-General of the International Digital Cooperation Organization

On 14 April 2026, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Muhammetgeldi Ayazov met with the Secretary-General of the International Digital Cooperation Organization Ms. Deemah Al-Yahya.

At the meeting, issues related to establishing and developing mutually beneficial digital cooperation between Turkmenistan and the International Digital Cooperation Organization, as well as its member states, were discussed.

In particular, Deemah Al-Yahya provided detailed information on the Organization’s activities. She also noted that, within the framework of its strategic objectives, the Organization attaches great importance to strengthening digital cooperation between Central Asia and its member states, promoting cross-border investment, and holding high-level negotiations to coordinate mutual approaches.

Ambassador M.Ayazov noted that in recent years, special attention has been paid to the development of the digital economy in Turkmenistan, and in this regard, a new Concept and State Programme for 2026-2028 have been approved.
