The Ambassador of Turkmenistan in Georgia met with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia

On 31 January 2024, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan in Georgia Mr. D. Seyitmammedov met with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Mr. A. Khvtisiashvili at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia.

During the meeting, the sides noted the active growth of Turkmen-Georgian relations based on regular political dialogue, strengthening of economic ties, close cooperation in energy, transport and many areas of cultural and humanitarian cooperation.

The participants of the meeting stressed the dynamic nature of the established inter-parliamentary ties and the importance of the dialogue between the legislative bodies of the two countries.

The Ambassador noted that this year the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great poet and thinker of the East Magtymguly Fragi is solemnly celebrated at the international level, which became the main motive of the motto of 2024 in Turkmenistan – “Fount of wisdom of Magtymguly Fragi”.

The sides discussed the issues of holding joint events dedicated to the life and works of the great writer and noted that it will contribute to further strengthening the humanitarian dialogue, relations of friendship and mutual understanding between our countries and peoples.
