Terra-News: Makul Dictionary in the Russian Press

According to Terra-News, on the occasion of the 34th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Independence and the 30th anniversary of its Permanent Neutrality, the “Makul English-Turkmen Dictionary” was published in the United States. The book is already available on the global online marketplace Amazon.

Comprehensive Content

The new dictionary contains 16,500 English words with translations into Turkmen. In addition to common vocabulary, it also includes specialized terminology in the fields of law, economics, medicine, IT, artificial intelligence, and sports.

Editorial Team

The editorial team is headed by Dr. Dovran Orazgylyjov, Doctor of Law.

This publication is intended not only for students and learners but also for translators, lawyers, diplomats, and professionals engaged in international fields.

International Recognition

Professor S. Frederick Starr of Johns Hopkins University described the dictionary as a “bridge between languages and cultures.”

Eric Stewart, Executive Director of the American-Turkmen Business Council, emphasized its importance for strengthening trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.
