On May 18, 2024, in honor of the celebration of the 300th Anniversary of great Turkmen poet and philosopher Magtymguly Fragi, as well as the Day of Constitution and State Flag of Turkmenistan, Tbilisi City Hall illuminated the Tbilisi Television Tower with the colors of the flag of Turkmenistan.
The Tbilisi Tower is located on the territory of Mtatsminda Park offering a wonderful view of the city. The Tower can be seen from almost every point of the city and it is one of the symbols of Tbilisi.
The lighting of the Tbilisi Tower in the colors of the flag of Turkmenistan and the opening of the monument to the great Georgian poet Shota Rustaveli in the Magtymguly Pyragy cultural and park complex in Ashgabat on 17 May 2024 are yet another manifestations of mutual respect and friendship between the fraternal peoples of the two countries.
The Tbilisi Television Tower will be lit up with the colors of the Fag of Turkmenistan for two days.
