On November 20, 2023, the Turkmen-German Business Forum took place in Berlin. This significant event served as a pivotal platform for fostering and fortifying economic ties between Turkmenistan and Germany.
The forum brought together prominent business leaders, government officials, and entrepreneurs from both Turkmenistan and Germany to delve into multifaceted discussions surrounding investment opportunities. Industries such as energy, infrastructure, agriculture, and technology were spotlighted, emphasizing the potential for collaboration and growth.
As is known, during a visit to Berlin on September 29, 2023, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, initiated priority areas of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Germany. To discuss these areas, the National Leader proposed organizing the Turkmen-German Business Forum.
In order to implement the agreements reached during the Forum, the parties signed a Roadmap for the development of economic cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Federal Republic of Germany.
In addition to formal presentations, the forum provided valuable networking opportunities. Business leaders and entrepreneurs engaged in G2B and B2B meetings, fostering new connections and exploring potential partnerships. These interactions are vital for building trust and understanding between businesses from diverse cultural and economic backgrounds.
