President of Kazakhstan Meets Turkmenistan’s Foreign Minister

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov, who was on an official visit to the country. The Kazakh Presidential Press Service reported on the meeting, during which President Tokayev expressed satisfaction with the dynamic development of the friendly and strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan.

Additionally, the Kazakh leader congratulated Turkmenistan on initiating the International Year of Peace and Trust, which coincides with the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality. The discussions also focused on the implementation of high-level agreements in energy, transport, and cultural cooperation. The Turkmen delegation conveyed sincere greetings from President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and National Leader Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, emphasizing Turkmenistan’s commitment to further strengthening its strategic partnership with Kazakhstan.
