The official opening and presentation ceremony of the “Transport Expedition” (TEX) digital logistics platform was held for the first time in Turkmenistan at the “Ish Nokady” business center, located in the “Arkach” shopping and entertainment center in Ashgabat. This project will serve as a modern bridge connecting cargo shippers (cargo owners), private drivers, large fleet owners, and logistics companies online on a single platform.
The presentation ceremony was attended by leading industry experts, major local entrepreneurs, manufacturers, and numerous guests interested in the logistics sector. In addition, an online broadcast via the Google Meet platform was organized for international requested who wished to join the event.
During the ceremony, Sapa Gurbanberdiyew, Deputy Director of the “Turkmen Logistics” Association, Daniil Mayakovskiy, Head of the “MCT Agency” consulting company, and Haknazar Haljanow, Director of the “Döwletli Nesibe” Economic Society, have given speeches. As noted in the speeches, the “TEX” digital project was implemented under the ownership of the “Daşly kenar” Economic Society with the support of the “Turkmen Logistics” Association, which unites more than 160 industry companies.
The “TEX” platform was developed over two years by the “Döwletli Nesibe” Economic Society with the participation of national and international experts. The main feature of this project is that it is the first large-scale digital logistics tool in our country that enables all operations and settlements to be fully processed not only in international currencies but also in the national currency, the Turkmen manat. The system is accessible on a “one-window” basis through a modern website and mobile applications (Google Play, App Store).
Key Functional Capabilities of the Platform:
- Intelligent Matching: Automatic connection of cargo owners with suitable transport on a single platform;
- GPS Monitoring: The ability to track cargo locations digitally;
- Cost Optimization: Elimination of excess expenses through direct communication;
- Analytics: Special tools for data collection and logistics cost planning.
The “TEX” platform is available in English, Russian, and Turkish, and has been developed to be highly secure and user-friendly. This system will contribute to the improvement of the country’s logistics system in accordance with international standards, increase the competitiveness of local goods, and strengthen the export infrastructure.
