On 9 September 2024, the heads of Yagshigeldi Kakaev International Oil and Gas University and Georgian Technical University held an online meeting dedicated to the signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the two universities.
At the meeting, the sides also discussed the issues of strengthening bilateral relations in the sphere of culture, education, science, as well as expansion of partnership and exchange of experience between the educational institutions of the two countries. The sides stressed the importance of holding joint conferences, scientific forums, research, joint implementation of scientific projects, as well as student and teacher exchange programs.
The sides expressed readiness to establish direct contacts between scientists of the two countries and deepen ties between the universities.
