Police Lieutenant Colonel Shohrat Orazgeldiyev, an officer of the Transport Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan, won a gold medal and a championship belt at the “Samarkand Open” World Open Universal Fight Championship. The competition was held from July 25 to 28 in the Uzbek city of Samarkand.
The Turkmen athlete competed in the “Classic” discipline in the under-70 kg weight category. Having fought four intense bouts, he defeated all his opponents. On the final day of the tournament, Shohrat Orazgeldiyev also successfully competed in a professional league match, claiming the main championship belt.
