Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Ms. Battsetseg Batmunkh, who arrived in Ashgabat in the framework of the first state visit of the President of Mongolia Ukhnaa Khurelsukh to Turkmenistan.
During the conversation, the sides noted the significance of the visit in terms of further development of Turkmen-Mongolian relations in political-diplomatic, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
The sides exchanged views on strengthening cooperation between the foreign ministries of the two countries.
The parties also noted the importance of participation of the Mongolian delegation headed by President Ukhnaa Khurelsukh in the International forum “Interconnection of Times and Civilizations – Basis of Peace and Development” held in Ashgabat the day before.
